Brown County Family Permanent Supportive Housing Program
Program Description:
The Brown County Family Permanent Supportive Housing Program is funded through the Wisconsin Balance of State Continuum of Care and the Department of Housing and Urban Development and will provide a permanent housing option to two chronically homeless families. The program participants will pay 30% of their monthly adjusted gross income towards their housing each month.
This project allowed funding for a duplex in Brown County to be acquired and rehabbed in order to make the housing decent, safe, and sanitary. These families will be offered intensive case management to assist them to be able to live independently in hopes of one day that they will be able to obtain a rental unit outside of the program.

Application Process:
Please first fill out our intake form here. Once you fill out the intake form, someone will be in contact with you for next steps.
Applicants should then contact Newcap’s Oconto office for an assessment to determine preliminary eligibility. Once initial eligibility is determined, the applicant is placed on the Prioritization List and offered assistance when an opening becomes available in the program. Applicants are placed on the Prioritization List by their F-VI-SPDAT score.
