Because of the Weatherization Assistance Program . . . Thank you notes

Our clients who are located in Brown, Florence, Forest, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Oneida, and Shawano counties as well as in the tribes of Mole Lake, Sokaogon, Chippewa, Oneida Nation, and Stockbridge-Munsee, are very special to all of us here at Newcap. We take great pride in helping our clients and making sure they understand every step that will take place while their home is being weatherized. As you will learn from the a few thank you letters below, our Weatherization team is compassionate to our clients and dedicated to their work. 

The work done in our client’s homes doesn’t just help them with their energy bills but can also help their health. Here are a few clients thank you notes that talk about that: 

“I am writing this letter you regarding your wonderful program and outstanding team at Newcap. I want to thank you along with everyone that provided so many products and valuable services to me. Works alone cannot begin to express my gratitude for the bountiful blessings including peace of mind that resulted because of the Newcap program, commitment and professional skills. Newcap has provided warmth, comfort, savings and peace of mind as I face another Wisconsin winter. 

Beginning with the Energy Auditor, everyone was exceptionally friendly, respectful and caring. I was truly overwhelmed upon learning the full scope of benefits that your program generously provides. Paul was the next gentleman who arrived to measure space for the new furnace. He patiently answered my questions and addressed my concerns. It was refreshing to encounter each of your employees as they cheerfully performed their separate duties and various services. The scheduling representative also did a great job of confirming appointment dates and times as things progressed. Each stage of Weatherization from heating, ventilation and insulation was completed very professionally. I was reassured that my attic was free of mold, which had been a major concern for over a year. In additional to a brand new furnace customized by Sean (who had to perform in a very cramped space), a bathroom exhaust fan was installed, smoke alarms were replaced and a carbon monoxide detector was provided. My current hot water heater is now vented properly and an old hot water heater was removed. I was also the recipient of a brand new refrigerator. Several inches of insulation have been added to my attic space to conserve energy and provide comfort and warmth during our upcoming winter months. Weather stripping was added to my entry door leading from the garage and sealant was applied to leaking window to stop the drafts. The combination of all the teamwork, coordination, communication and follow up inspection were amazing. You have an incredible team that you should be very proud of. 

After struggling for more than a year and a half with illnesses that included upper respiratory issues, I am actually beginning to feel stronger. I am convinced it is a result of the improvements that your team made within my home. A new refrigerator replaced the old one that was not functioning properly for a long period of time. Fresh food spoiled very quickly and mold regularly formed on my contents. Now, I am so grateful each time I open the doors to find things working properly and no spoiled food! 

I want you to know how much I appreciate all that you have done for me and how grateful I am to everyone that is employed by your program. You have a special group of people who are making a difference in the lives of people like me in your community!”
